Where Your
Outdoor Dreams
Begin
Our process is collaborative, intentional, and tailored to you. We begin by understanding how you live, how you use your outdoor space, and what you want it to become. By combining on-site insight with thoughtful design and real-world construction expertise, we create customized, buildable plans—so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and excitement.
Our Process
-
Initial Consultation: Every project begins at your home. This is essential to how we work. By meeting in person, we can experience your space as it exists today, understand scale, surroundings, style of your home, and learn how you live and move through it.
Design Questionnaire: Our detailed design questionnaire is intentionally thought-provoking. It’s designed to prompt you to pause and reflect on how you actually use your space today - what works, what doesn’t, and what you’ve always wished it could be.
Concept Development: Using our in-person insights and your responses, we develop initial layout concepts and mood boards that explore style, function, and spatial possibilities tailored specifically to your home.
-
Fuctional Zoning: We define the structure and flow of your outdoor space by establishing purposeful zones - such as dining, lounging, gathering or planting.
2D Layout Development: We translate the approved concepts into a detailed 2D layout that establishes scale, circulation, and placement. This plan becomes the foundation for all future design work.
-
Layout Refinement: We refine the overall layout by adjusting sizing, proportions, and relationships between spaces to ensure the design functions comfortably and cohesively within your property.
Material Direction: We discuss material direction to help inform the look and feel of the design.
3D Visualization: We bring the design to life with immersive 3D renderings that allow you to experience the space before moving forward.
